My name is Lee, I am a 1st AC by trade but trying to get into gimbal work, I've worked on a multitude of short films and music videos. I am also a cinematographer and I've created a few projects of my own some even winning awards! My short non-narrative film "AI-Realities" won an award for excellence in visual arts and was displayed at QAGOMA in 2023. My current goal is to work in a feature film as a 1st AC and further down the line DP one as well. I started getting into film when I was younger as I loved how books would transport me to different places that only happen in imagination but to be honest, I hated reading.... Which is why film was perfect it would allow me to experience story-telling without having to read. My curiosity for filmmaking was furthered when I found Christopher Nolan my inspiration, his visual style was unlike anything I had ever seen before. It was visually beautiful and something I just couldn't get enough of, this would lead me onto my fascination for the camera department and curating a film that is visually stunning. And I hope one day I'd be able to be someone that inspires others the same way Christopher Nolan did for me.
